Koola Wildlife Foundation was established more than a decade ago for conserving nature, wildlife and biodiversity.
We have a firm belief that science and conservation must go hand in hand for the betterment of nature & humans. Our focus is finding conservation solutions based on scientific principles and information

We do arrange Bird Watching program, so that new generation should understand the importance of birds. We also give information about saving bird habitat. We give information about migratory birds

Wildlife conservation is todays need. If we save Jungle today then we will survive. Also along with this we need to save our wild animals. We arrange lectures for wild life awarness.

We also work on Nature Conservation, into that we tell people to conserve our nature, birds, wild animal, jungle , trees around us. If we save them today we will survive tomorrow

  • Roadkills ecology using mobile app ARRM

In this project we are collecting data of road kill that happen on specifc areas where heavy vehical traffic is there using mobile app

  • Mapping and identification of high potential wild habitats

In this project we are trying to map the potantial area which can become potantial habitates of wild animal

In this project along with identifying and mapping potantial wild habitat, we are monitoring grassland also.

In this project we would like to increase our efforts to see Melghat TR harbour minimum of 100 tigers.

We want to explore and assess the potential habitats for interstate connectivity of Tigers

We are planning to save the critically important species of birds and mammals.



OUR MISSION




To collaborate with government and non-government institutions for wildlife and wild habitats.

To build individual or institutional capacity in the wildlife research and conservation practices through training, awareness and outreach.

To reduce anthropogenic impacts on wildlife & wild habitats by means of relocation, rehabilitation, alternative livelihood options etc. for local communities near protected areas.
